God is Good All the Time!

Starting in Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. The Bible then says that when "God looked over all he had made, he saw that it was very good!"

After the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden, God reveals his plan to send our Savior & Lord, Jesus Christ. That plan was also very good because it would restore all who believe in Jesus back to right standing with God and transfer them from this dark world, taken over by sin, back into the Kingdom of God as his very own beloved child. Very good news!

When Jesus came into the earth, He brought the Kingdom to earth. He went around teaching, preaching, and healing all manner of sickness and disease! Again, very good! He didn't stop there because he sent his disciples out on multiple occasions to travel around and do the same. They came back reporting of all they'd been able to do in His name. Again, very good! Now, not only was Jesus a miracle worker and spreading the goodness of the Father but his disciples were as well.

Upon Jesus' death, God's goodness was not done. Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day and the Holy Spirit was poured out! Amen! Jesus gave a charge to his disciples to take the Kingdom to the whole world. With the filling of the Holy Spirit, nothing was impossible for them because nothing is impossible with God. More goodness!

Friends, the Holy Spirit is an important gift that was promised and delivered to all who would accept. To learn more about the Holy Spirit, read the book of Acts. He leads, guides, helps, corrects, and manifests God's love, peace, and joy. What a good & precious gift!

Until next time...
